Roles and Responsibility :

Job Description:-

 

Leadership role, strategize and set the direction of the company’s credit & risk function for next 4 years:-

     

·         Building a automated risk algorithms for different types of individual customers in coordination with the Data Science team

·         Build out underwriting policies, infrastructure, and development and deploy underwriting models, risk decision strategies and fraud detection

·         Work closely with Founder and lending partners in managing Risk of the portfolio, defaults & collections

·         Represent the company to the outside world, including lending partners, board of directors & other strategic alliances Job Requirements

·         Implement best learning’s of other fintechs/Retail NBFCs to build out our credit function including coordination with collections and ops teams

 

Must-have:-

 

·         Candidate from Personal Loan Credit Card Background is mandatory

·         Experience in validating and implementing risk models and strategies. Prior experience in credit policy for fintech/NBFC will be preferable

·         At least 3-5 years of experience in credit modeling or 3-5 years experience of unsecured (personal or business) loans at an NBFC or a fintech lending company

·         Passion for using new technologies, data and algorithm to drive underwriting decisions. Willingness to learn new things will be a key factor in our evaluation for this process

·         Excellent written & Verbal communication skills

·         Experience working in a startup, a Fintech startup, is preferable

·         Responsible for credit underwriting / analysis / appraisal as well as developing the lending norms / rates / policies for all retail lending products offered.
